Wheelton Investments is a company that owns 11 Budget Rental Car franchises in Melbourne and is heavily involved in the philanthropic sector.

Their old Intranet was a simple HTML based website located on a Windows 2008 Server running IIS 6.0. Webcom Solutions was contracted to design and build a contemporary and functional Intranet system.

The Solution

As the business already had a Microsoft 365 subscription, it was decided to utilise the SharePoint licencing included with their Microsoft 365 licence. Our SharePoint development team worked in conjunction with the team at Wheelton Investments to build a new Intranet with custom applications such as:

• Leave Form with automated approval system.
• Damage notification forms.
• Do not rent database.

Webcom Solutions provided training to the staff in the SharePoint site so that most maintenance could be performed in-house.

Webcom Solutions have also built many websites for the organisation from accommodation sites to a website that enables the business to sell their ex-rental cars online.
