AusConnect UGS

AusConnect Underground Services  is an Australian owned and operated company, providing civil and underground infrastructure services and solutions. AusConnect reached out to Webcom Solutions to migrate their cloud services from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.

AusConnect has over 50 mailboxes and 50 GB of data to migrate from one platform to another. This task was made significantly more difficult by the fact that it was smack bang in the middle of a 4-month COVID lockdown in Melbourne.

Significant planning was put into the migration and a weekend was selected to move all the data and email to Microsoft 365.
Webcom Solutions utilizes custom scripts and Microsoft Azure services to successfully migrate all the data seamlessly from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 in 48 hours.

Then using our Remote Monitoring and Management software we installed and configured Office365 on all computers.
We also assisted with the migration and setup of SharePoint for all AusConnect files. This data is configured over document libraries with different levels of security.

With a 1300 number that was directed to one mobile number, Webcom Solutions as a 3CX partner were asked to setup a cloud-based PBX system. Using Amazon web services (AWS) we setup and configured a phone system with messaging and multiple options to direct customers to the correct people professionally. All AusConnect staff use the 3CX applications on their phones to handle all business calls.
