When the team at Hip Pocket Mornington relocated to a larger retail store, Webcom Solutions were asked to assist with the move.

This was a perfect time to have a look at their current IT infrastructure and see where we could improve how they did business. As with any business that slowly grows, many systems were added along the way that, the configuration was Ad Hoc.

Hip Pocket were using an old client/server POS system which was unreliable and quite expensive to get support for. A decision was made to go with a cloud-based system that would be easy to use and integrate with their accounting system and eCommerce site.

They were also using an old Western Digital NAS is a file storage system which was not getting backed up properly, so Webcom Solutions advised to migrate the files to their SharePoint which was included as part of their Microsoft 365 solution.

Webcom Solutions also assisted with combining all their email accounts into the one Microsoft 365 tenant. We migrated all email to the tenant and simplified their mailbox setup.

With the design of the new retail space, Webcom Solutions also worked closely with the electricians to ensure that the cabling infrastructure was adequate for potential growth of any hardware that could be required in the future.

Datto networking hardware is installed and configured in the building. This hardware is all able to be managed remotely and is monitored by our Remote Monitoring and Management software. We usually know there are issues before the client does and can fix many of them before it becomes a problem.

All computers were upgraded to Windows 10 Professional and Office365 with upgrades and security also managed by our state of the are RMM software.

Microsoft 365 files are backed up by or SaaS backup solution 3 time s day protecting the business from any Malware attacks or accidental deletion of files.

Webcom Solutions also installed and configured a 3CX PBX phone system for the business with an internal PBX and 8 handsets. This system runs at half the price of the old Telstra phone system that was installed at their previous retail shop. We also manage this remotely.

We keep this maintained and provide support for any custom integrations they may require.

All these systems are billed in one monthly contract enabling the business owners to know their monthly IT spend. This includes 24/7 support using our ticketing system to ensure all. Webcom Solutions have improved the business continuity and uptime of the IT Infrastructure at Hip Pocket Mornington whilst significantly reducing their monthly IT/Telecommunications spend.
